Known as The Master Communicator,
author Sharon Jenkins is proficient in communicating the plight of the abused
child in her revelatory book, Beyond the Closet Door. In her advocacy she has
also started a writer’s workshop series for children called Speak Little Children Writer’s Initiative.
She is an avid writer and has written
for Gospel Truth Magazine and Newspaper, Just Magazine, Houston Style and
D-Mars Faith-Based Journal. She is presently a contributor to Beauty Come Forth
E-Magazine. Sharon has also co-authored two other books, Songs of Three Sisters
and Ready, Set, Succeed, Making Your Dream Come True.
She is currently working on her PhD at
Union Institute and University in Public Policy and Social Justice and is an
MLK Scholar.
